Qualified Profit Days
A Qualified Profit Day, or QPD, is a completed Qualified-stage day that satisfies the FairTicks profit threshold and valid-trade requirement. QPD support payout eligibility during the active Performance Cycle, while lifetime QPD can unlock permanent Reward Share progression on the same Qualified Account.
Payout progression should reflect repeatable performance across multiple completed days, not one isolated intraday result.
QPD in one sentence
A completed day counts as one QPD when its official settled daily result reaches at least +0.50% of starting simulated capital and the day contains at least one valid trade.
The official QPD conditions
| Condition | Current standard requirement |
|---|---|
| Account stage | QPD apply to an eligible Qualified-stage payout account with QPD enabled. |
| Completed-day profit | At least +0.50% of starting simulated capital. |
| Valid activity | At least 1 valid trade recorded for that completed day. |
| Counting point | The day is finalized through the official FairTicks completed-day / EOD process. |
| Maximum count per day | 1 QPD. |
How the QPD threshold is calculated
The threshold uses the account's starting simulated capital.
QPD profit threshold
= starting simulated capital × 0.50%
| Starting simulated capital | Minimum completed-day result for one QPD |
|---|---|
| $10,000 | $50 |
| $25,000 | $125 |
| $50,000 | $250 |
| $100,000 | $500 |
Use the QPD requirement and capital stored on the selected Qualified Account. Generic examples never override that account's own snapshot.
QPD uses completed realized performance
QPD is not awarded because live equity temporarily reaches the required level during the trading day.
FairTicks evaluates the official completed-day account result. The relevant daily result is based on settled realized performance, including the applicable official trading costs recorded for that day.
| Item | QPD treatment |
|---|---|
| Closed trading PnL | Included in the official daily realized result. |
| Trading commissions | Included in the net settled daily result. |
| Unrealized open PnL | Not counted as completed realized QPD profit. |
| Payout transaction | Not counted as a profitable trading-day result. |
| Bonus credit | Not treated as realized trading performance for QPD. |
| Administrative balance adjustment | Not treated as normal realized trading performance for QPD. |
Intraday profit does not guarantee a QPD
QPD threshold: $250
Intraday unrealized peak: +$420
Official completed-day realized result: +$180
Result: No QPD.
The day did not finish with the required $250 of official realized daily profit.
A position that is profitable during the day does not create a QPD merely because the account's floating equity temporarily exceeds the threshold.
The valid-trade requirement
A day must also include at least one trade recognized as valid under the FairTicks valid-trade policy.
A positive daily account adjustment without qualifying trading activity does not create a QPD.
FairTicks uses its stored trade and daily-statistics records when determining whether the completed day qualifies.
Review Valid Trades for the current valid-trade requirements.
One completed day can add only one QPD
QPD count qualifying days, not individual profitable trades.
Valid trades during the day: 5
Completed-day result: above the QPD threshold.
QPD added: 1.
Current-cycle QPD vs lifetime QPD
One qualifying day can update two separate progress counters.
| Counter | Purpose | After payout reaches PAID |
|---|---|---|
| Current-cycle QPD | Used for payout eligibility in the active Performance Cycle. | Resets to 0 for the next Performance Cycle. |
| Lifetime QPD | Tracks long-term QPD progression on that specific Qualified Account and can unlock higher Reward Share tiers. | Remains preserved. |
When one completed day qualifies, it can advance both: the current Performance Cycle's payout-QPD count and the account's lifetime QPD progression.
Current standard payout QPD requirements
| Qualified Account family | Current-cycle QPD required | Minimum Qualified age |
|---|---|---|
| Rapid | 7 QPD | 7 calendar days |
| Classic | 10 QPD | 10 calendar days |
| Discipline | 10 QPD | 10 calendar days |
| Instinct | 7 QPD | 7 calendar days |
Under the current standard configuration, Rapid requires 7 current-cycle QPD and a 7-day minimum Qualified age.
QPD and minimum age are separate
Reaching the required number of QPD does not bypass the account's minimum Qualified age.
Current QPD: 7 / 7
Qualified Account age: 6 days
Result: QPD is complete, but the 7-day age requirement is not yet complete.
Lifetime QPD Reward Share progression
Standard Qualified Accounts can unlock higher trader Reward Share levels by accumulating lifetime QPD on that same account.
| Account family | Current standard lifetime-QPD ladder | Maximum Reward Share |
|---|---|---|
| Rapid |
0 QPD → 75% 15 QPD → 80% 35 QPD → 85% 65 QPD → 90% |
90% |
| Classic |
0 QPD → 80% 10 QPD → 85% 30 QPD → 90% |
90% |
| Discipline |
0 QPD → 85% 10 QPD → 90% 25 QPD → 95% 50 QPD → 100% |
100% |
| Instinct |
0 QPD → 80% 15 QPD → 85% 40 QPD → 95% |
95% |
Current standard Instinct uses 80% → 85% → 95%. Older 90% → 95% → 100% descriptions do not match the current executable configuration.
Lifetime progression belongs to one Qualified Account
Lifetime QPD belong to the specific Qualified Account on which those qualifying days were earned.
They do not automatically transfer to:
- another Qualified Account;
- another account family;
- another purchase;
- a separate reset account; or
- another trader account.
When does a newly unlocked Reward Share apply?
A higher Reward Share tier earned during an active Performance Cycle does not change that cycle's economics immediately.
Active Reward Share: 85%
Lifetime QPD reaches: 10
Newly unlocked tier: 90%
Active cycle Reward Share: still 85%
Pending Reward Share: 90%
Activation:
after the applicable payout reaches
PAID
and the next eligible Performance Cycle begins.
The active Performance Cycle keeps its current Reward Share. A newly earned QPD tier becomes pending for the future.
Can an activated Reward Share decrease?
Standard lifetime-QPD Reward Share progression does not step backward once a tier becomes active.
A later losing day, a payout, or a weaker future Performance Cycle does not reduce the QPD tier that has already become active.
A higher Reward Share does not prevent a risk breach, remove payout requirements, or override account lifecycle restrictions.
Discipline Free Reset exception
Discipline has a special Free Reset pathway with different Qualified economics.
If an eligible Discipline Training Account uses the documented Free Reset pathway before Qualified generation, the resulting Qualified Account uses: 50% trader / 50% FairTicks.
Under the current Qualified-generation logic, the standard lifetime-QPD Reward Share progression is disabled for this special Free Reset account.
Do not apply the normal 85% → 90% → 95% → 100% Discipline ladder to a Qualified Account generated through the special Free Reset lifecycle.
QPD and payout eligibility
Completing the required current-cycle QPD is only one part of payout eligibility.
Other current checks can include:
- Eligible payout-enabled account status.
- Minimum Qualified Account age.
- Payout Consistency within the active cycle limit.
- Sufficient eligible realized profit.
- At least the current minimum gross payout capacity.
- Protected Reserve and payout-capacity requirements.
- No open positions.
- No conflicting active payout.
- KYC when required.
- Valid payout destination.
Completing the QPD requirement means only that the QPD portion of the payout checklist is complete. Every other applicable payout condition must still pass.
There is no separate generic five-day payout rule
Current Qualified payout eligibility uses the account-specific minimum age and QPD requirements recorded in the payout snapshot.
It does not add the older generic five-active-trading-days requirement as a separate standard payout gate.
Training minimum-day requirements and Qualified payout QPD requirements belong to different stages.
What happens after payout reaches PAID?
PAID
closes the completed payout Performance Cycle.
At that transition:
- Current-cycle QPD reset to 0.
- Lifetime QPD remain preserved.
- A pending higher Reward Share can become active.
- A new Performance Cycle begins.
- A new cycle-specific payout Consistency threshold can be selected and snapshotted.
Before PAID:
Current-cycle QPD: 10 / 10
Lifetime QPD: 25
Active Reward Share: 85%
Pending Reward Share: none
After PAID:
New-cycle QPD: 0 / 10
Lifetime QPD: still 25
Active Reward Share: still 85%
What does not reset current-cycle QPD?
Current-cycle QPD do not normally reset because of:
- a losing day;
- a non-qualifying day;
- a temporary change in open PnL;
- a payout being merely submitted;
- a payout being approved; or
- a payout being processing.
The normal cycle reset happens when payout reaches
PAID.
Can a losing day remove a QPD?
No. Once a completed day has been finalized and counted as a QPD, a later losing day does not delete that historical QPD.
A losing day can still:
- reduce current-cycle net realized profit;
- worsen payout Consistency;
- reduce payout capacity;
- increase risk consumption; or
- lead to a hard-risk breach if an active floor is reached.
QPD vs Training minimum days
| Metric | Lifecycle stage | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Training minimum days | Training | Part of the Training pass requirements where configured. |
| Qualified Profit Days | Qualified | Part of Qualified payout progression and lifetime Reward Share progression. |
Training activity does not become current-cycle Qualified QPD when the Qualified Account is generated. Qualified-stage QPD begin on the Qualified Account.
QPD vs payout Consistency
QPD and Consistency measure different things.
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Qualified Profit Days | How many completed days satisfied the QPD profit and valid-trade conditions. |
| Payout Consistency | How concentrated current-cycle net realized profit is in the cycle's single best profitable day. |
Current-cycle QPD: 10 / 10
Current Consistency ratio: 42%
Active cycle Consistency limit: 35%
Result: QPD is complete, but payout Consistency is not yet complete.
Being above the active payout Consistency limit can block payout eligibility, but it does not by itself breach the Qualified Account.
QPD visibility in FairTicks
Depending on the current FairTicks interface, QPD information can be available through:
- the Qualified Account dashboard;
- the Performance Cycle information;
- the payout eligibility panel;
- the QPD / performance card;
- daily statistics and account history; and
- the Account Snapshot where applicable.
Common mistakes to avoid
| Mistake | Correct understanding |
|---|---|
| Counting an intraday equity peak | QPD uses the official completed-day realized result. |
| Counting open PnL as QPD profit | Open unrealized PnL is not completed realized daily trading profit. |
| Counting multiple QPD in one day | Maximum one QPD per completed day. |
| Ignoring valid-trade requirements | At least one valid trade is required. |
| Thinking Rapid requires 10 QPD | Current standard Rapid requires 7 QPD. |
| Thinking Rapid minimum age is 10 days | Current standard Rapid minimum Qualified age is 7 days. |
| Thinking Instinct starts at 90% Reward Share | Current executable Instinct starts at 80%. |
| Thinking Instinct reaches 100% Reward Share | Current executable Instinct tops out at 95%. |
| Thinking QPD alone guarantees payout | All payout conditions must still pass. |
| Confusing current-cycle QPD with lifetime QPD | Current-cycle QPD are for the current payout cycle. Lifetime QPD are long-term account progression. |
| Thinking every QPD counter resets after payout | Current-cycle QPD reset after PAID. Lifetime QPD remain preserved. |
| Expecting an unlocked Reward Share immediately | A tier earned during an active cycle becomes pending for the next eligible cycle. |
| Applying the standard Discipline ladder after Free Reset | The special Free Reset Qualified configuration uses a 50 / 50 split without the standard QPD ladder. |
Common questions
Can open PnL create a QPD?
No by itself. QPD uses the official completed-day realized result, not a temporary unrealized equity value.
Can I earn more than one QPD per day?
No. A completed day can add at most one QPD.
Does exactly +0.50% qualify?
Yes, if the completed official daily result is at least the exact threshold and the day also satisfies the valid-trade requirement.
Does commission affect QPD?
Yes. The QPD result is based on the official net settled daily performance, so applicable trading commissions are part of that realized result.
Does a payout transaction count toward a QPD?
No. A payout is not trading performance for the QPD day calculation.
Does an admin balance adjustment create a QPD?
No. Administrative balance adjustments are not normal realized trading performance for QPD qualification.
Do QPD exist on Free Trials?
No for payout progression. Free Trials cannot progress to payout.
Do payout QPD exist during Training?
No. Training has its own pass requirements. Qualified payout QPD begin on the Qualified Account.
How many QPD does Rapid require?
Current standard Rapid requires 7 QPD.
How many QPD does Classic require?
Current standard Classic requires 10 QPD.
How many QPD does Discipline require?
Current standard Discipline requires 10 QPD.
How many QPD does Instinct require?
Current standard Instinct requires 7 QPD.
When do current-cycle QPD reset?
Current-cycle QPD reset after the payout reaches
PAID
and the next Performance Cycle begins.
Do lifetime QPD reset after payout?
No. Lifetime QPD remain attached to the same Qualified Account.
Can lifetime QPD move to another Qualified Account?
No. Lifetime QPD progression belongs to the specific account where those days were earned.
Does Reward Share change immediately when I reach a tier?
Not during an active Performance Cycle. The higher tier becomes pending.
When does a pending Reward Share become active?
After the applicable payout reaches
PAID
and the next eligible Performance Cycle begins.
Can my activated Reward Share go back down?
Standard QPD Reward Share progression does not decrease once a tier has become active.
What is the current Instinct Reward Share ladder?
80% starting, 85% at 15 lifetime QPD, and 95% at 40 lifetime QPD.
Does Discipline Free Reset still use the standard QPD Reward Share ladder?
No under the current special Free Reset Qualified configuration. That pathway uses the 50% trader / 50% FairTicks split without the standard Discipline QPD Reward Share ladder.
Does one losing day remove previously earned QPD?
No. Previously finalized QPD remain recorded.
Does completing QPD guarantee payout?
No. QPD is only one condition in the full payout eligibility checklist.

One completed qualifying day can advance both the current payout cycle and the Qualified Account's long-term lifetime QPD progression.
One qualified day can advance two forms of progress.
It advances current-cycle payout progress and lifetime Reward Share progression, while payout eligibility still depends on the complete account-specific payout checklist.
QPD count not matching your expectation?
Check the selected account's starting capital, official completed-day realized result, valid-trade count, current-cycle QPD, lifetime QPD, Performance Cycle, and account history. If something still appears incorrect, contact FairTicks Support with your account number and relevant screenshots.
